Why is it that my budget is never large enough when I get here?  It happens every year.  I shorten the amount of time we are here to shop and still blow through most of my money on the first full day. Reminds me of my budget for the house remodel.

Thing I have picked up so far, the most expensive has been Jade.  Besides the beautiful Polar Jade on Wednesday, I scored some Yukon Jade yesterday.  My most expensive purchases so far.  

Then there is the Australian crazy lace, Zebra Rock and Lepidolite also from Australia.  I am crossing my fingers for 3 or more spheres of the Turkish stick Agate.  Why I didn’t buy this stuff last year when it was 30 percent less expensive is beyond me.   

Alan has picked out his budget of non-sphere materials and then some.  He just loves the Chrysocollas which have also gone up 30 percent.  

The biggest score has been the red green blanket rhyolite from Chili.  This is the only new material I have seen out there.   I am lucky that John thinks my spheres are amazing and wants me to showcase the material.

Today we check out some of the smaller shows looking for new and different.  Wish me luck in finding that amazing new material that doesn’t cost my first born.  I am sure it is out there somewhere.
