The Excitement Is Building.

Alan arrives from LA today.  I have been sitting in Phoenix since Sunday.  The trailer is now unloaded of inventory from the Flagg show and cleaned up.  Tomorrow we leave for Tucson!

This will be our shortest buying trip ever.  We will be leaving Tucson on Sunday.  I’ve got my cash in my pocket and am ready o hit the ground running.  It will be interesting to see what new material I can find this year.  Remember, I am not supposed to be buying rocks.  LOL

Yesterday I walked down to where our rocks are here.  I have no idea what is in most of the barrels here.  These are rocks loaded when we were getting ready to sell the house.  I expect this is where most of the Plasma Agate, obsidian, and many of the California rocks are.  Shall be interesting to bet them to Prescott and start going through them.  It will be like Xmas and my birthday rolled into one major event!

Yesterday’s surprise was an email from the Tucson Gem and Mineral Society.  The convention Center had decided that they would not be melting the ice on the arena floor for the show.  Rather than making us vendors stand over ice for 5 days they decided to move us to a ballroom upstairs. It will be interesting to see if this is going to be a good thing.  We will now be by the door where everyone walks in.  My booth is now going to be 39-40.  This is directly across from one of the 2 entrances into the ballroom.  I am hoping for good things!

Excited!  Thanks for reading.........
