The lull has been broken!

I finally feel like I've accomplished something! Today I finished the Norwegian Thulite Sphere. It turned out beautiful. One step away from polish are 7 more. The Cady Mountain in that group has been taken back to rough grind 3 separate times. The 2 Fluorites look like I can finish them with out "popping" any crystals. I am very happy with the Noble Serpentine after difficulties with scratches. The small Pinolith spheres are very different from the larger spheres I have made. I continue to be amazed at how different spheres from the same boulder can be.
In the saws, the African Turquoise is almost cubed. My eldest convinced me to finally start on a blue calcite (onyx?) from Argentina. I suppose when you are with me when I purchase a rock you might feel some ownership for it. This material is a darker blue than the material I have worked in the past.
Thanks for following my miss mash of wanderings.
