The Winds.

Posted by Bev Darby, Rock n Spheres on 15th Dec 2017

The winds were howling again yesterday.  I had to quit running to the saws about 11 AM.  Currently it is calm, but I expect that to change once the sun comes up.  Hopefully I can cut for a couple of hours before I have to start working about losing saw lids.

I have been able to accomplish  some things.  The Namibian Pietersite looks amazing.  As always, so does the Desert Storm Dolomite.  Have been able to sneak an Indian Paint Rock in and the Parrot Wing.

Today I will run another Pietersite, Desert Storm, Stichtite, and a Parrot Wing.  Not sure how long I will be able to work.

All the holiday baking has been finished except making the Lefsa.  That will be done on Saturday when the whole family is together.  What a carb rush.  I think we eat more than we are able to package.  I did get a full 20# of potatoes for this year.  My mom would be so proud.  It is unbelievable that out of 3 daughters and 2 granddaughters I am the only one that makes it.

Is still think it would be easier to bring sphere machine into the kitchen so I could bake while working on spheres.
