There is Always Geodes.

With having the 24" saw out of commission, I find myself with nothing to put on the sphere machines.  I just loathe when that happens.  When looking around I came across some Mexican Coconut geodes.  Thank goodness!  On the medium machine I now have a geode that I started ages ago.  On the  slowest machine, I have a new one grinding. Happy to discover that it has the agate rind and not the brown mud!  I expect that neither of these will be finished this round of work.  That is if they do not break apart before they are completed.

I have cut 2 smallish Fire Mountain cubes.  Neither of the small saws were happy with cutting larger pieces of this.  I am now taking the corners of a large Marston petrified wood cube that I found looking around for something that would cut in the small saws.  Also I have a type of crazy lace agate having its corners cut off.

Cross your fingers I get the replacement parts for the saw soon!  Alan has it dismantled and ready for the new parts.

Thanks for reading.
