Too Windy!

Yesterday, when I would go to the saws, I put my gas mask on before I left the garage.  Today I might not want to even go out side.  The winds are supposed to be sustained at 30+ MPH with gusts such higher.  Heart goes out to those in Ventura that are dealing with the fire that started last night.  The city of Ventura could end up like Santa Rosa in northern Ca.  There is also a fire that has started to the east of us in the mountains on the other side of the valley.  That one only started an hour ago.  UGG!

I have w2 spheres ready to go to polish, a Charoite and a Peruvian chrysocolla.  The chrysocolla is interesting in the caps of the sphere is Chrysocolla but the rest is Malachite.  This material takes a lot of stabilization.  The effort is well worth it.

I have Pietersite spheres that are almost round.  So far so good with them.  I worried how it would hold up to the rigors of the rough grind.  The material looks pretty amazing despite one boulder being half base rock.  Won't be getting as many spheres as I had hoped for.

Not sure now what is in the saws.  I know one is another Apache Gold boulder.  For as messy as it is, is is worth it.  The other 24" has been cutting for slabs.  corners, not sure.
