Only 2 days off before we leave for Tucson!  I am so excited to be going again.  The down size is that 7 more shifts before we go.  Alan is slightly resistant .  Mostly because we are so poor at staying in budget.  HaHa.  He is far worse than me.

So today I accomplished a lot!  Mostly non-rock issues that needed to be done.  The xmas decorations are packed and put away.  A CostCo run burned an hour.  The laundry is done.  I died a portion of me hair blue.  (And not the blue stuff my Grandma used to keep her grey from turning yellow.)

You see, we admitted a youngish women on Friday that had had a stroke.  She was understandably upset.  Her nurse and I spent a considerable amount of time with her trying to get her blood pressure down and to keep her calm.  Some times things get a little crazy when you are trying to take someones mind off the circumstances that they are in.  

The conversation ended up to the show we did in Mesa, Az and this hunter green haired women I saw.  At the time I had asked Alan if I'd look good with blue hair.  I will leave his response out, but the patient thought it was hysterical.

When I saw her the next day, she inquired why my hair was not blue.  (Keep in mind she has great difficulty speaking.)  So today I have a blue strip of hair on the left side that looks really weird when I bun my hair.  I am sure that the youngsters at work will wonder what came over the lady.
