Unproductive.

I have not been productive this month so far.  I need to really get the lead out!  Only 5 spheres finished and 2 of those are out of share rock!  Pathetic!  2 of the others haven't even made it on the website.  :-(

I have to say I have been fighting a cold/flu, not sure what it is.  The weather hasn't really helped getting over it.  High 90's for a couple of days, I know I shouldn't complain, then 60's with high winds.  The winds always have played havoc with my allergies.

Today I did manage to get the corners finished and hand grinding completed on the Copper Rose.  This may be a shocker sphere for me.  When cutting it, I didn't think there was much copper in it.  I was wrong!  It was a bugger to hand grind.  the copper kept gripping the grinder.  I almost lost the rock on more than several occasions.  It looks like it will be a fast machine grind.  Hopefully I will get it finished this week.

I am now cutting corners on a second petrified palm from Indonesia and a Bumble Bee.  There is a lineup waiting for corners to come off.  Several Indonesian Marcasite and another Specular Hematite.  It does appear I am into the metals this year.

Tomorrow I will play with the drop saw some more.  I am realizing how wimpy I am.  It really works out the upper body muscles, at least on the right wide anyway.  I just might end up looking like a very lopsided Hulk, no muscles on the left but buff on the right.  Hmmmmm, doesn't sound too appealing.

Still so many different materials to work and so little time.  Thanks for reading........
