Waiting.....

Still waiting for the new website to be up and running.  Hopefully it will happen soon.  There was a major communication challenge when it came to setting up the individual product page but that is resolved.  now am waiting for the transfer of material from the old to the new.

I do have 2 spheres completed but am waiting for the new site.  The Charoite sphere is a smaller version of the large one I had just finished.  The crystalline structure is amazing.  Then there is a Golden Amphibolite, it is pretty spectacular in it's own right.

The high speed machines have been busy.  I have a second Lemon Chrysoprase that I am looking to see how this one will polish so I can do a comparison between the 2.  It is soft material.  The first has a matte finish so we will see how this one turns out.  There is also a Marra Mamba working.  Both have given me challenges.

I am rough grinding another Turkish stick Agate sphere and a red jasper.  The Magnetite and Jade I had started lost a chunk and will now end up as slabs. :-(

I have been cutting some Moonshine Jasper from the Owyhee Mountains of Eastern Oregon.  This is HARD stuff.  The saws were not happy!  There are 2 with their corners off and 2 in the wings waiting.  The patterns are varied with pinks and bieges.  I expect they will take an amazing polish.

I have started cubing Lions Skin tiger eye from Africa.  This boulder again has a hint of blue with it.  Too soon to see the patterns in it.  After that I haven't decided what will be next.  So many choices in the shed that I have yet to tap into.

I learned an important lesson yesterday.  Never ever turn on a centrifuge with out the lids firmly secured on it.  I received a shower of oily saw sludge for my stupidity and spent hours cleaning the ceiling and walls of the saw room before I could actually clean up.  Alan laughed.

Thanks for reading.........
