Waiting For This Day!
Posted by Bev Darby, Rock n Spheres on 7th Dec 2016
Tomorrow is the day my friends are getting 15 pallets of rock that is originating in Germany. There will be rocks from Europe and Afghanistan. There is also Seiber Agate, 700 year old glass slag form the copper smelting process they used back then. I will be leaving at "oh god hundred" to attempt to be there when the semi pulls up to there space in Desert Gardens, Quartzsite. Very excited to get to dig through all the goodies.
Today I managed to completely bend one of the 24" saw blades. Shoot! One saw down, again. The other 24" saw has been cutting a iron rock from the Kaiser mine out near Desert Center. Saturday I will be cleaning that saw out. Very messy.
I can't even remember what is in the 2 18 inch saws, so excited about tomorrow.
