When Will I learn?

You would think I would have learned my lesson with the Charoite episode 2 years ago.  I went to an importers house to pick up a large piece of Sodalite and ended up with a very huge piece of Charoite.  That is because Alan was with me and marked off a very large piece from a volkswagen sized boulder.

Once again Alan was with me when I went to pick up 2 pieces of Pietersite at the same imports place.  Ching ching, there it was, another piece of Charoite.  This time only 32 pounds.  So now I am the owner of another piece of Charoite, even though we still have over 30 pounds here.  As I am silently lamenting the large amount of cash I am laying out, Alan is still bringing over more rocks he thinks we should get.   Grrrrr.

So I now have 2 beautiful pieces of Namibian Pietersite, Charoite, Purple Chalcedony from Indonesia, African Tiger Eye, & Stichtite.  This is on top of the material we bought from Bruce last weekend and the weekend before.  I think 2018 will be a lean shopping year!  (As if I need anything more.)

I believe this rock thing is truly an addiction!

Thanks for reading.
