Where does the time go?

I can't believe we have passed into September already!  Time is passing at warp speed and I am having a hard time keeping up.  I think I am going to have to stop certain activities in my life ie cleaning house, live shows, weeding, so I can focus on what I want to do..... sphere making.  I am positive Alan will love that.

Another thing is I have to stop working only super hard material.  I have had a 4" Pink Lady claim agate on rough grind for 3 months now and it is no where near round.  I am going to have to go back to only one machine for this type of material!

I am super excited about the Rosetta Stone that we hammer drilled into smaller pieces.  The first preform went on a machine today.  Another is being preformed.  Both of these will be about 4 inches in diameter.  There will be several smaller ones in the works too!  And why did I only buy one boulder?

The Indian Paint rock will should make spectacular spheres.  The bold red patterns in take my breath away.  I have one large cube waiting to preform and am working on another cube.

Stressing about doing the Hardrock Summit show in Denver in 2 weeks.  Being a first time show during Covid should be interesting.  I have my hand sanitizer, sanitizing wipes and kn95 masks packed along with regular masks.  The city of Denver keeps changing their health requirements.  I half expected the show would be cancelled.

The gossip going around is that the Tucson Gem and Mineral Society is probably going to cancel the convention center show next year.  That would be a shame but who knows what Covid is going to be like by then.  Waiting till I qualify for my vaccine booster.
