Yipee!

I have 3 sphere machines running! So excited that there are rocks in the pipeline. The first Dead Camel Jasper sphere is round. Am working on figuring out if the fine lines I see under magnification are small lines in the pattern of scratches.
The Lapis Lace sphere I have started today will be round before the second Dead Camel sphere. This should be amazing as a sphere. The cabs Alan worked up took a stunning polish. The slabs sold like hot cakes at the Apache Junction show last week.
The second Dead Camel sphere has a way to go. This stuff is tough stuff to work. The saws didn't like cutting it either. I think they both will give me a run for the money as far as getting them completed.
The saws have been singing too. The corners are coming off an Ocean Jasper sphere. This is a lot of green with a smattering of orange. It was surprising how many different dealers had Ocean Jasper this year. I think the hoarders are finally bringing out their stash.
The Carrisite is almost cubed. This is another material that the saws have not been happy with. It should end up about 3.5" in diameter. I think I will hold off on cutting the other rock I got. Lets see how this one turns out. Maybe the saws need a rest from it.
The third saw is working on a third side of Baryte. I find this material fascinating. The color is just so unusual. I hope this one has orbs like the first one did.
So what to cut next? I am thinking I'd like to cube the Spinel in matrix. Three sides are already cut, so it should go quickly. I do need to make some spheres out of the standbys, Desert Storm, Noble Serpentine. I think I actually might be leaning more towards the huge boulder of old stock Mexican Crazy Lace. (I hear the saws groaning already). Hmmmmmm
