Yipee!

It looks like the 24" saw really is up and running.  The large Plasma Agate cut without any issues.  I have already taken the corners off a 4" cube and now have a smaller one that is about half finished.  A large green calcite when into the 24" and is cutting like butter.  You almost can't tell its cutting.  Happy day!

Tomorrow I will hand grind the first of the Plasma agate.  The new grinding wheel is amazing.  Very quiet as it does it's work.  This morning I did a Binthayla and an African Tiger Eye in record time.

The large chrysocolla boulder I had cut that I thought was going to be a total loss appears to have had one 4" sphere in it.  I hope to get it finished tomorrow.  As best as I can tell, besides Chrysocolla and Malachite there is a patch of silverfish metal.  In researching it, it might be Chalcocite.  Had never heard of this material before.  Not sure if it will take a great polish.

The Indian Blanket sphere is a slow grind.  I can transition it to the medium speed sphere machine tomorrow.  Will probably take days to get rid of all the flat spots.

On another note........ How can you have a kangaroo rat die in your glove box and not notice the smell?  Very happy it wasn't the vehicle that I drive, but the pickup truck.  Poor little mummified creature.
