Namibian Pietersite Sphere, 3.1 inches in diameter.
First discovered in 1962 near Outjo, Namibia by Sid Pieters,this material is absolutely stunning in its display of chatoyant colors. It's changeable luster is best served with a spot light to show it's true beauty. It has also been called the tempest stone of Eagles Eye and is thought to hold the Keys to the Kingdom of Heaven. Pietersite is though to break up energies that are resistant change and support willpower.
Never a perfect stone to work up, this sphere is not perfect! It does have areas of imperffections. The chatoyancy more than makes up for it's flaw.
