Purple Sagenite Sphere, China, 2.9 inches in diameter.
Don't ask me what it is, I do not know. At first I thought it might be Fluorite but after trying different polishes, it just doesn't work up like any other of that material. Now I am stumped. I love the sprays of purple running through this material and had to buy it. This material has the added bonus of small crystal lined rugs. I now see this being sold as Fluorite.
