Stone Canyon Jasper is located in California’s central coast region on a private ranch out side of Parkfield Ca, the earthquake capitol of the world. Our experience there was on a pay dig on a Mother’s Day many years ago. The drive to the dig was amazing. The scenery was beautiful as we drove on ridge top roads. Once at the site, it looked like a chain gang was at work. Shards flying every where, you needed your protective glasses.
